Jake Drohan: Founder
Born and raised in Quincy, Massachusetts, Jake spent more than ten years of his life as a football coach for the City College of San Francisco, followed by eight years as an Operations Manager in the logistics field. Combining the two sectors, Jake soon discovered how a harmonious blend of both disciplines renders an exceptional general contractor – having gained impeccable team building, organization, and planning skills along the way.
During his late-teen years, Jake spent his weekends assisting his family carpentry and painting business with all kinds of contracting projects. After years of coaching and corporate work, he decided to focus primarily on design, remodeling, and a number of large scale real estate projects.
Jake currently lives in Pembroke with his two children and continues to run his successful contracting company Drohan Development, working on diverse projects for a wide range of clients in the South Shore area. There’s no surprise that they all come for one thing – unrivaled service round-the-clock, no matter the project size or complexity. Jake continues his excellent work to this date, transforming properties for the better.

Jesse Drohan: Project Manager
Jesse is our Project Manager here at Drohan Development. As brothers, Jesse and Jake are grateful for the opportunity to be working together. Jesse has worked as an operations manager in the hospitality industry for over ten years. This is where he found a passion for inspiring the teams he led to grow in knowledge, experience, skill and patience required to gain success. The construction industry has played a large role in Jesse’s life and in proving to be a natural fit for his skill set, he is excited to continue growing within it. Jesse prides himself in his ability to successfully get the project at hand done, no matter what.
Currently, Jesse resides in Abington, MA. He finds happiness in travel and making improvements on on his home. He grew up playing baseball and shares the same love of football as his brother. Jesse now enjoys a wide range of hobbies and interests: music, writing, cooking and photography, a list he works to expand at every chance. It is with this same determination and commitment to improve upon himself that he brings to every project he is a part of.

Fernando Da Costa: Project Manager
Fernando is joining our team as our Project Manager! Fernando's background is in construction and carpentry, working his way up the construction industry for the past 7 years. He is also an entrepreneur! Fernando started his own carpentry company back in 2017. Fernando is excited to bring his industry knowledge and carpentry experience to the Drohan Development team!
Fernando was born in Brazil and move the USA at the age of 13. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. During the pandemic, Fernando invested in Crypto and was able to solely support himself off this endeavor. In his free time, Fernando enjoys playing Texas Hold’em, fixing bikes & motorcycles and spending time with his girlfriend. Additionally, Fernando has a goal of buying a few houses in the near future and looks forward to learning from Jake on the house investment process.

Bill Candler: Estimator
Now introducing Bill, our newest Drohan Development team member. Bill joins the team as our Estimator! Bill has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. His specialty lies in large scale residential painting and carpentry. Bill is also known as Uncle Bill to Jake! Over the years, Jake has worked for Bill, and he widely attributes his vast knowledge of the construction industry to Bill.
Bill is a retired firefighter who spent 20+ years saving lives for the Roxbury Fire Department. As a navy veteran, Bill has dedicated his life to serving others. He grew up in Dorchester and has 3 children. Bill currently lives in Weymouth with his wife of 38 years.

Gerri Presby: Bookkeeper
Gerri recently joined our team as our Bookkeeper! She has worked in construction accounting for over 20 years and brings a specific and varied skillset that is sure to be an asset to our team!
Gerri and her family have lived in Halifax for 30 years. She has been a volunteer at the elementary school for grades 1-5 as well as assisted CCD teachers at her church.
Gerri enjoys reading, baking, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She is currently spending much of her free time helping to plan her daughter’s wedding.

Samantha Holding: Interior Designer
Samantha currently resides in Pembroke, MA. She grew up spending some time living abroad with her family in Germany and Italy and enjoys traveling back when she can. Samantha attended the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. Some of Samantha’s passions include painting, cooking, interior decorating, teaching ballet, reading, and volunteering.
Samantha is delighted to join the Drohan Development team as our Interior Designer. She enjoys brining creativity to all aspects of her life! As our Interior Designer, she is very passionate about designing a space for her clients that reflect the things they love. A beautiful home inspires a beautiful life and she can’t wait to help her clients create that
in their new dream home!
